Ivanplats Limited (Ivanplats), formerly Ivanhoe Nickel & Platinum Ltd., is a mineral exploration and development company, whose properties are located in Africa. As of October 16, 2012, Ivanplats had three assets: Kamoa Project, Platreef Project and Kipushi Project. The Kamoa Project consists of copper deposit with adjacent exploration areas, located within the Central African Copperbelt in Katanga Province, and it owns a 95% interest in the Kamoa Project. Its 90% owned, the Platreef Project, includes underground deposit of platinum group elements (PGE)-nickel-copper-gold mineralization, in the northern limb of the Bushveld Complex, located approximately 280 kilometers northeast of Johannesburg, South Africa. The Kipushi Project lies adjacent to the town of Kipushi, and about 30 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The Company acquired 68% of Kipushi Corporation SPRL on November 28, 2011. On June 7, 2011, a further 8% of the its in Beales Limited was disposed.
