Inspiration Mining Corporation is a junior mining company. The Company owns, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Metal Mines Inc., a 100% interest in 28 claims consisting of 69 contiguous claim units (the Langmuir Property) covering 1,090 hectares in the north-central part of Langmuir Township, Porcupine Mining Division, Ontario. The property is approximately 25 kilometers southeast of Timmins, Ontario. The Company also owns, through Inspiration Mining-Utah, Inc., a lease on, and an option to acquire a 100% interest, ownership in 31 contiguous lode claims (the Barton Syndicate Property) covering 246 hectares located approximately 35 kilometers southwest of Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States. As of September 30, 2010, the Company held approximately 53% interest in Nitinat Minerals Corporation (Nitinat), which owns a 100% interest in a group of mineral claims on Vancouver Island, British Columbia (the Jasper Property) covering approximately 6,615 hectares.
