Enbridge Income Fund Holdings Inc. (ENF), through its investment in Enbridge Income Fund (the Fund), holds energy infrastructure assets. The business of ENF is limited to investment in the Fund. The Fund operates in three segments: Alliance Canada, Saskatchewan System and Green Power. The Fund is involved in the generation and transportation of energy through its 50% interest in the Canadian segment of Alliance Pipeline (Alliance Canada), its crude oil and liquids pipelines business in Saskatchewan (Saskatchewan System) and interests in more than 400 megawatts of renewable and alternative power generation capacity (Green Power). During the year ended December 31, 2011, it owned 80.7% interest in the Fund. In December 2012, the Company and Enbridge Income Fund (the Fund) acquired by indirect wholly owned subsidiaries of the Fund, which own crude oil storage and renewable power generation assets from Enbridge Inc.
