easyhome Ltd. (easyhome) is a merchandise leasing company offering household furnishings, appliances and home electronic products to consumers under weekly or monthly leasing agreements through both corporate and franchise stores. The Company offers a variety of financial services, including consumer loans, prepaid cards and cheque cashing through its easyfinancial Services Inc. business. The Company has three segments: leasing, easyfinancial and franchising. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had 213 easyhome stores, 88 easyfinancial locations and had 48 easyhome franchise/license locations. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had 197 corporate stores in Canada and 16 in the United States. The Company also operated 85 easyfinancial kiosks, two standalone locations and one Virtual kiosk. On December 31, 2012, the Company exchanged stores with Rent-A-Center, Inc.
