Medical Facilities Corporation (MCF) owns a majority interest in each of four specialty surgical hospitals (SSHs) located in South Dakota and Oklahoma, as well as a majority interest in one ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in California. The MFC Partnerships (collectively, Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital LLP (Sioux Falls), Black Hills Surgical Hospital, LLP (Black Hills), Dakota Plains Surgical Center, LLP (Dakota Plains), Oklahoma Spine Hospital, LLC (OSH) and Surgery Center of Newport Coast, LLC (SCNC)) owns and operates the MFC Facilities, which include the MFC Hospitals and MFC Surgical Center. The MFC Hospital is a licensed specialty surgical hospital, which performs scheduled surgical, imaging and diagnostic procedures. The MFC Hospitals have 34 operating rooms, 101 overnight stay rooms. In November 2012, the Company acquired 51% interest in the Arkansas Surgical Hospital, L.L.C. (ASH).
