Detour Gold Corporation is a Canada-based gold mining company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of mineral properties. The Company’s focus is on the exploration and development of its Detour Lake gold project, located approximately on its 627 square kilometers Detour Lake Property in northeastern Ontario, Canada. The Company’s projects are Detour Lake mine, Detour Lake Exploration Block A and Detour Lake Exploration Regional. Detour Lake mine located approximately 185 Kilometres northeast from the town of Cochrane; Detour Lake Exploration Block A has completed approximately 160,000 Metres of drilling, and Detour Lake Exploration Regional has drilling campaign of approximately 14,874 Metres in 40 holes.
