China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd. is a gold and base metal mining company. The Company's main business involves the acquisition, development and exploration of gold and base metal mineral properties. Its principal mining operations are the Chang Shan Hao Gold Mine (CSH Gold Mine), located in Inner Mongolia, China, and the Jiama Copper-Gold Polymetallic Mine (Jiama Mine), located in Tibet, China. It holds interests in CSH Mine and Jiama Mine. The Jiama Mine hosts copper-gold polymetallic deposit containing copper, gold, molybdenum, silver, lead and zinc metals. The CSH mine has approximately two open-pit mining operations. The CSH Gold Mine produces Gold dore bars with silver by-product and has mine processing capacity of over 60,000 tons per day (tpd). The Jiama Mine is an open-pit and underground mining operation. The Jiama Mine produces Copper with gold and silver by-product and has mine processing capacity of approximately 50,000 tpd.
