Prophecy Coal Corp., formerly Prophecy Resource Corp., is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of coal properties in Mongolia. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's primary resource properties include Ulaan Ovoo coal mine (Mongolia), and the Chandgana Khavtgai and Chandgana Tal coal deposits (Mongolia), collectively Chandgana Coal Properties. The other properties of the Company include Okeover copper-molybdenum (British Columbia, Canada) and Titan property (Titan) (Ontario, Canada). In June 2011, the Company completed the Arrangement whereby Prophecy Platinum Corp (Platinum) acquired the Lynn Lake and Wellgreen nickel properties from Prophecy. In March 2011, the Company obtained from the Mongolian government a full mining license for its 141 million tons at its Chandgana Tal Coal deposit in Mongolia. The Company holds a 53.24% interest in Prophecy Platinum Corp (Platinum).
