Hufvudstaden AB is a Sweden-based real estate company. The Company's principal activities include investments in office and retail properties. Its properties are mainly situated in the central business districts of Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden. The Company operates through three business divisions: Stockholm City East, Stockholm City West and Gothenburg, as well as three support functions: Accounting/Finance, Property Development and Human Resources. It carries on its parking operations through the subsidiary Parkaden AB. As of December 31, 2011, Hufvudstaden AB wholly owned 16 companies, including AB Citypalatset,, Fastighetsaktiebolaget Medusa and AB Nordiska Kompaniet, among others.
