Neptune Orient Lines Limited (NOL) is engaged in the ownership and charter of vessels and other related assets; the provision of transportation services for containerized cargo in the worldwide markets, including but not limited to port to port, intermodal and origin / destination services; the provision of supply chain management, warehousing, distribution and customer logistics solutions (by way of a worldwide network of services spanning ocean, air and overland operations) to customers, and the provision of other related and complementary services, including ship management. The Company operates in two segments: Liner and Logistics. It also engages in other incidental activities, such as the disposals of vessels, containers and related assets, as well as non-core properties and assets from time to time. In February 2013, its wholly owned subsidiary, Chenab Investments Ltd., completed the sale of its land, building, plant and equipment to Fragrance Regal Pte. Ltd.
