Mapletree Industrial Trust is a Singapore-focused real estate investment trust (REIT). The principal activity of the Company is to invest in a a portfolio of industrial properties with the primary objective of achieving a level of return from rental income and for long-term capital growth. Industrial properties include flatted factories, business park buildings, stack-up/ ramp-up buildings, light industrial buildings and a warehouse. As of March 31, 2012, the Company�s portfolio consisted of industrial properties located across Singapore. On August 26, 2011, the Company acquired eight flatted factories and three amenity centers from JTC Corporation. The Company is managed by Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd.
