Park Place Energy Corp. (Park Place) is an exploration-stage company engaged in exploring for oil and natural gas. The operations of the Company and its subsidiaries concentrate on coal bed methane (CBM) and tight gas exploration and development in the Dobrich region in north eastern Bulgaria. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had interests in oil and gas properties in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan and in Eastern Bulgaria. During the year ended December 31, 2011, two wells were drilled on the Edam property in Saskatchewan, Canada of which it had a 10% interest in.
