Environmental Control Corp. (EVCC) is engaged in the development of emission control devices for small spark ignition combustion engines. The Company�s catalytic muffler combines a muffler and a catalytic converter into one unit. As of December 31, 2011, the Company focused on the North American market and targeted original engine manufacturers (OEMs). The aftermarket parts segment represents a secondary market. In July 2010, the Company partnered with Vconverter Corporation, to design a catalytic muffler for high-performance snowmobiles. As of December 31, 2011, the Company targeted small spark-ignition engines, including personal transportation devices, off-road recreational vehicles, personal watercrafts, water pumps and in particular the lawn and garden industry. Included in the off-road recreational vehicle segment are snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes.
