California Gold Corp. (California Gold) is an exploration-stage mining company, whose principal focus is the identification, acquisition and development of rare and precious metals mining properties in the Americas. Its primary focus is on the exploration and development of the La Viuda Concessions south of Moctezuma, Sonora, Mexico. Its subsidiary includes CalGold de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V., through which it holds interests in the La Viuda Concessions and manage its business affairs in Mexico. The La Viuda Concessions, which cover approximately 18,840 acres south of Moctezuma, Sonora Mexico, comprises two exploration concessions. As of January 31, 2011, the Company had not generated any revenues.
