Nuveen Connecticut Dividend Advantage Municipal Fund 2 (the Fund) is a closed-end fund. The Fund's investment objectives are to provide current income exempt from regular federal and Connecticut income tax and to enhance portfolio value. The Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in investment grade quality municipal bonds (Baa/BBB or better). The Fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in municipal bonds that are rated Ba/BB or B or that are unrated but judged to be of comparable quality by the fund's investment adviser. The Fund uses leverage. The Fund invests in sectors, such as education and civic organizations, healthcare, US guaranteed, tax obligation/limited, and water and sewer.
