Administradora de Fondos de Pensiones Provida SA (AFP Provida SA) is a Chile-based company engaged in the management of private pension funds. The Company�s activities include the investment and collection of its clients� contributions, the management of individual capitalization accounts and the provision of life and disability benefits, payments of funeral expenses and senior retirement pensions. The Company has operations established in Chile and, through its subsidiaries, in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. As of December 31, 2012, the Company owned fully consolidated subsidiaries Provida International SA and AFP Genesis Ecuador, as well as minor stakes in other companies. In addition, BBVA Inversiones Chile SA was its majority shareholder with 51.62% of its interest.
