Description

Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation (Magnum Hunter), an independent oil and gas company, is engaged primarily in the exploration for and the exploitation, acquisition, development and production of natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs) resources in the United States. The Company operates through three segments: U.S. Upstream, Midstream and Marketing, and Oil Field Services. The U.S. Upstream segment explores for and produces crude oil and natural gas in the United States and Canada. The Midstream and Marketing segment markets natural gas and operates a network of pipelines and compression stations that gather natural gas and NGLs for transportation to market. The Oil Field Services segment provides drilling services to oil and natural gas exploration and production companies. The Company operates primarily in the Marcellus Shale and the Utica Shale plays located in the Appalachian Basin in West Virginia and Ohio.
