Templeton Global Income Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end investment company. The Fund seeks current income, with a secondary goal of capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in income-producing securities, including debt securities of the United States and foreign issuers, including emerging markets. The Fund portfolio includes foreign government and agency securities, municipal bonds, quasi-sovereign and corporate bonds, and short term investments and other assets. The Fund�s investment manager is Franklin Advisers, Inc. The Fund invests in the Institutional Fiduciary Trust Money Market Portfolio (Sweep Money Fund), an open-end investment company.
