Description
Prism Cement Limited is an integrated building materials company. It provides with a range from cement, ready-mixed concrete, tiles, bath products to kitchens. The company has three Divisions, Prism Cement, H & R Johnson (India), and RMC Readymix (India). As of March 31, 2012, the Company had a 74% stake in Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Limited, a JV with QBE Group of Australia. The Cement division sells cement in eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Bihar. The H & R Johnson (India) division (HRJ Division) offers the products under brands, Johnson, Marbonite and Endura. RMC division operates 87 concrete plants and nine aggregate crushers spread across locations across the country as of March 31, 2012. The Company�s subsidiaries include, Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Limited, Lifestyle Investments PVT Limited, Milano Bathroom Fittings Pvt. And Silica Ceramica Private Limited Limited. In November 2011, it acquired 50% in Small Tiles Pvt. Ltd.
