PI Industries Ltd (PI) is an India-based company. The Company is an agri input and custom synthesis and manufacturing company. PI has two business activities: Agri Inputs offering plant protection products, and specialty plant nutrient products and solutions, and Custom Synthesis & Manufacturing for contract research and production of agro chemicals, intermediates and other niche fine chemicals. The Company operates in two segments: Chemicals and Others. The Company�s geographical segments include Sales within India and Sales outside India. The Company, as of March 31, 2012, marketed and distributed its products to approximately 40,000 retail points and over 9,000 distributors direct dealers. As of March 31, 2012, the Company introduced two spectrum modern fungicides: CLUTCH and SANIPEB, one wheat herbicide: WICKET, and a spectrum Insecticide: OVAL.
