Graphite India Limited is an India-based company engaged in producing graphite electrodes. Graphite and carbon segment is engaged in the production of graphite electrodes, other miscellaneous carbon and graphite products. Power segment is engaged in generation of power. Steel segment is engaged in production of high speed steel and alloy steel. Other segment, engaged in manufacturing of impervious graphite equipment (IGE) and glass reinforced pipes (GRP) and investing in shares and securities. As of March 31, 2012, the Company had an installed capacity of 33 megawatt of power generation through hydel and multi-fuel routes. On March 14, 2012, the Company disposed Carbon International Holdings N.V. (CINV).
