The Federal Bank Limited is engaged in the banking business. The bank operates in four segments: treasury operations (investment and trading in securities, shares, debentures, etc.), wholesale banking, retail banking and other banking operations. It offers an array of banking products and services covering working capital, term finance, trade finance, specialized corporate finance products, structured finance, foreign exchange, syndication services and electronic banking requirements of corporate clients. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012 (fiscal 2012), it launched schemes, such as Fed Arogya, Fed-chit, Fed-Elite, Visa Business Debit Cards and Fed + Amrita. During fiscal 2012, the Company added 207 branches. As of March 31, 2012, the total number of branches and ATMs of the Bank were 950 and 1005 respectively.
