Texas Roadhouse, Inc. (Texas Roadhouse) is a full-service, casual dining restaurant chain. The Company offers an assortment of specially seasoned and aged steaks hand-cut daily on the premises and cooked to order over open gas-fired grills. In addition to steaks, it also offers its guests a selection of ribs, fish, seafood, chicken, pork chops, pulled pork and vegetable plates, and an assortment of hamburgers, salads and sandwiches. Its entrees include two made-from-scratch side items, and it offers all its guests a free unlimited supply of roasted in-shell peanuts and made-from-scratch yeast rolls. As of December 27, 2011, it leased173 properties and owned 121 properties. As of December 27, 2011, its 366 restaurants included 294 company restaurants, of which 282 were wholly owned and 12 were majority-owned, and 72 franchise restaurants, of which 69 were franchise restaurants and three were license restaurants. It has a 5% to 10% ownership interest in 22 franchise restaurants.
