The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in the securities of small capitalization companies. The advisor considers companies with market capitalizations at the time of purchase less than $2.5 billion to be small capitalization companies. It invests primarily in common stocks. The fund may invest in companies in any industry. It invests primarily in the securities of U.S. companies, but the fund may also invest outside the U.S.
