The investment seeks current interest income exempt from federal individual income tax. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in securities that pay interest that is, in the opinion of bond counsel to the issuer at the time the security is issued, exempt from federal individual income tax. It will not invest more than 5% of its total assets in securities that are rated below investment grade (sometimes referred to as "junk bonds") by a nationally recognized statistical rating organization, such as Moody's Investors Service. The fund is non-diversified.
