The investment seeks current income with liquidity and stability of principal. The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets in U.S. Treasury bills, notes and other obligations issued or guaranteed by the U.S. Treasury and repurchase agreements collateralized by such obligations. It may also engage in reverse repurchase agreements as a method for creating leverage and for other purposes. The fund's portfolio managers maintain a dollar-weighted average maturity of the portfolio of 60 days or less, and a dollar-weighted average life to maturity of the portfolio of 120 days or less.
