Photon Kathaas Productions is engaged in the production of motion picture films. The Company produces and co-produce South Indian films and films primarily targeted at a South Indian audience. The Company operates as a South Indian motion picture company producing films predominantly in the South Indian languages of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The movie portfolio of the Company consists of rights in relation to certain movies, which consist of completed movies, certain rights, such as remake rights, acquired in relation to completed movies, movies under production and movies in the pipeline. On January 15, 2010, the Company entered into an asset purchase agreement to purchase 50% of the remake rights in certain movies (in languages other than Tamil and Telugu), which include Khaaka Khaaka, Vettayadu Vilayadu and Vaaranam Aayiram.
