The company�s benchmark MSCI All Countries Asia Pacific (Japan fixed at 25%) index. It invests in the Martin Currie China A Share Fund Limited (China A Share Fund). At 29 February 2012 Martin Currie Pacific Trust had invested 1.2% of its total portfolio in the China �A� Share Fund. It invests in sectors, such as financials, consumer goods, technology, Oil and gas, Consumer services, Basic materials, Telecommunications, Industrials, Utilities, Investment fund and Healthcare. As of February 29, 2012, the Company held investments in between 55 and 75 companies across markets in Asia and the Pacific Basin, including Japan and Australasia. Martin Currie Investment Management Ltd (MCIM), is the investment manager of the Trust.
