Geiger Counter Limited is a closed-ended investment company. The Company has been established to invest in the securities of companies involved in the exploration, development and production of energy, as well as related service companies, for both existing and alternative supplies and types of energy. The Company�s investment objective is to deliver attractive returns to shareholders principally in the form of capital growth. The initial focus of the Company is on companies involved in the uranium industry, either by buying quoted shares of companies involved in the exploration or production of uranium or by investing in seed capital situations prior to listing. Up to 30% of assets may be invested in other resource-related companies. The investment advisor of the Company is CQS Cayman Limited Partnership (CQS). As of September 30, 2010, CQS had delegated this function to New City Investment Managers.
