The Edinburgh Investment Trust plc is an investment trust. The Company�s investment objective is to invest primarily in United Kingdom securities with the long-term objective of achieving an increase of the net asset value per share by more than the growth in the FTSE All-Share Index; and growth in dividends per share by more than the rate of United Kingdom inflation. The Company may invest up to 20% of the market value of the Company�s investment portfolio, measured at the time of any acquisition, in securities listed on stock exchanges outside the United Kingdom. The Company will not hold more than 5% of the issued share capital in any one company. The Company�s portfolio includes basic material, consumer goods, consumer services, financials, health care, industrials and technology. Invesco Asset Management Limited is the manager and secretary of the Company.
