Capital Gearing Trust p.l.c is a United Kingdom-based investment trust. The Company�s investment objective is to achieve capital growth principally through investment in closed-ended and other collective investment vehicles, invested in equities or property, with a willingness to hold cash, bonds, index linked securities and commodities when appropriate. The maximum proportion of the Company�s gross assets that can be held in other United Kingdom listed investment companies, which do not have a stated investment policy to invest no more than 15% of their gross assets in other United Kingdom investment companies, is 10%. The Company will not invest more than 15% of its investment portfolio in any single investment. The Company�s investments are managed by CG Asset Management Limited (CGAM). Northern Trust Company Limited provides custodial services and Northern Trust Global Services Limited provides administrative services in relation to the portfolio.
