Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital is a Jewish-sponsored nursing home that also operates a specialty hospital. In addition to traditional skilled nursing services, the hospital provides subacute (short-term) medical care, inpatient and outpatient mental health care, and adult day-care services. Founded in 1890, the medical center has more than 290 beds. Among its specialized services are rehabilitation, pain management, and wound care, as well as hospice care. Levindale Hebrew is part of the LifeBridge Health network of facilities in the Baltimore area and is sponsored by the Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.
