Sinopoly Battery Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the research and development, production, distribution and sale of lithium-ion batteries and related products, and treasury investment. The Company�s products are mainly used for electric vehicles and energy storage. The Company operates in two segments: battery products segment, which includes the research and development, manufacture and sales of lithium-ion batteries and related products, and treasury investment segment, engaged in investment in cash markets. It was also engaged in the securities brokerage business. On April 19, 2011, it completed the disposal of its entire interest in a subsidiary, Infast Brokerage Limited, which was engaged in the securities brokerage business. The Company�s subsidiaries include ACE Legend Holdings Limited, Basland Enterprises Ltd., Carico Strategic Investment Ltd, Fullbelief International Limited and Glory Era Limited, among others.
