Description

Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (Huntington) is a multi-state diversified regional bank holding company. Through its subsidiaries, including its bank subsidiary, The Huntington National Bank (the Bank), Huntington is engaged in providing full-service commercial, small business, consumer banking services, mortgage banking services, automobile financing, equipment leasing, investment management, trust services, brokerage services, customized insurance programs, and other financial products and services. The Company operates in four segments: Retail and Business Banking , Regional and Commercial Banking, Automobile Finance and Commercial Real Estate and Wealth Advisors, Government Finance, and Home Lending . At December 31, 2011, the Bank had 652 branches. A Treasury/Other function includes its insurance brokerage business, which specializes in commercial property and casualty, employee benefits, personal lines, life and disability and specialty lines of insurance.
