Schwaelbchen Molkerei Jakob Berz AG is a German manufacturer and wholesaler of dairy products. It operates in two business segments: milk production and merchandise. The Company's range of products includes fresh milk, homogenized milk, cream and yogurt, butter, cheese manufactures as well as curd, among others. Schwaelbchen Molkerei Jakob Berz AG also offers associated services and logistics for the delivery of fresh products to the market. As of December 31, 2011, Schwaelbchen Molkerei Jakob Berz AG operated the two majority owned subsidiaries, including SCHWAELBCHEN Frischdienst GmbH in Mainz and the indirectly held subsidiaries SCHWAELBCHEN-Wiese-Frischdienst GmbH in Ilsfeld and Platin 758. GmbH in Frankfurt, as well as the wholly-owned subsidiary Harzmolkerei Wernigerode GmbH in Wernigerode, as well as minority owned Gesellschaft zur Foerderung des Absatzes milchwirtschaftlicher Produkte GmbH.
