PNE Wind AG is a Germany-based company engaged in the development, realization, financing and operation of wind farms. The Company diversifies its activities into two business segments: wind power and electricity generation. The wind power segment is subdivided into onshore and offshore wind power. The onshore sub-segment operates a portfolio of already realized wind farm projects (amounting to a total of 814 MegaWatts (MW) output), onshore wind farms in Germany under development (amounting to approximately 1,100 MW output), and international wind farm projects under development, amounting to a total of 2,086 MW output. The offshore sub-segment operates a portfolio of national wind farm projects amounting in total to up to 3,307 MW. The electricity generation segment comprises all activities related directly in the production of electricity from renewable energy through wind farms. In August 2012, the Company sold its offshore wind parks, Gode Wind I, II and III to the Danish energy.
