Takkt AG is a Germany-based management holding company of a group of business-to-business (B2B) mail-order companies for business equipment solutions in Europe and North America. The Company operates through two divisions: TAKKT EUROPE and TAKKT AMERICA. TAKKT EUROPE comprises the two sub-groups Business Equipment Group (BEG) as well as Office Equipment Group (OEG), and offers products in the fields of business, environment, office and warehouse equipment to customers through Internet and catalogues. TAKKT AMERICA contains the three sub-groups Plant Equipment Group, Specialties Group and Office Equipment Group and offers products for the transport, storage, business equipment and packaging sectors, as well as to retail trade facilities and restaurants. TAKKT AMERICA operates a total of eight warehouses in the United States as well as Canada, and one warehouse in Germany. TAKKT AG is a 70.4%-owned subsidiary of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH.
