Pairi Daiza SA, (formerly known as Parc Paradisio SA), is a Belgium-based company that operates a zoological park, Pairi Daiza, in Brugelette, Belgium. The Company houses more than 4,000 animals, including mammals, birds, reptiles and fish from all over the world. The park has a total surface of 55 hectares, with gardens, including an Indonesian garden (Kingdom of Ganesha), Chinese garden, Australian garden, rose gardens, playgrounds, suspension bridges and an aquarium, the Nautilius. Parc Paradisio SA runs also about 30 scientific programs for the preservation of endangered species and assures the reproduction of certain species such as elephants in the park. In December 2010, the Company acquired Pierre Paulus SA, a catering company, which provides services in occasions such as marriages, society dinners and seminars. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's major shareholder was Wildo Properties SA.
