Pan Orient Energy Corp. (Pan Orient) is a junior oil and natural gas company. The Company focuses on two primary areas: exploration and development in Asia, principally in Thailand and Indonesia, and heavy oilsands exploration in Northern Alberta. The Company has an operated working interest in four on-shore concessions in Thailand: Concession SW1 (SW1); Concession 44/43 (L44); Concession 33/43 (L33); and Concession 53/48 (L53). Concession SW1 is fully developed and the remaining three concessions are in various stages of on-going development, during the year ended December 31, 2011. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned a 97% operated working interest in the Batu Gajah and South CPP production sharing contracts (PSCs). On February 1, 2012, Pan Orient and Tiger amalgamated and carries on business under Pan Orient. During 2011, it drilled 19 (12.6 net) exploration/appraisal wells and nine (6.6 net) development wells, and oil production averaged 2,030 barrels of oil per day.
