Finavera Wind Energy Inc. (Finavera), formerly Finavera Renewables Inc., is a development-stage company. The Company�s primary focus is the development of wind power projects in Canada and Ireland. The Company�s four British Columbia wind energy projects (the BC Projects) are located in the north-central Peace Region of British Columbia. The Company�s projects have a total potential electricity generation of approximately 406 megawatts: the BC Projects representing 301 megawatts, and the remaining 105 megawatts represented by the Cloosh Valley Wind Project in Ireland, in which the Company has a 10% interest. On May 17, 2011, Finavera and BC Hydro signed an Standard Generator Interconnection Agreement for the 47 megawatts Tumbler Ridge Wind Energy Project. On December 2, 2011, Finavera signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the McLeod Lake Indian Band (MLIB) relating to the development of the Company�s 47 megawatts Tumbler Ridge and 77 megawatts Wildmare Wind Energy Projects.
