Canadian Imperial Venture Corp. is a Canada-based resource company with interests focused in Canada. The company is participating in three drilling programmed-an oil-in-shale play within the Ordovician Green Point Formation in the Port au Port Bay area of Western Newfoundland; an industrial metals prospect on the Port au Port Peninsula where the Company is in the process of earning an interest by drilling Odd Twins Magnetic Anomaly, and a petroleum exploratory project in the Parson�s Pond area of the Great Northern Peninsula of Western Newfoundland in which the Company has a 1.5% gross royalty on two of three land parcels, which are being drilled. The Company�s exploration projects include Shoal Point area, Lourdes area and Southern Alberta area. Effective October 25, 2011, it sold substantially all of its oil and natural gas property interests to Shoal Point Energy Ltd. On November 29, 2011, its subsidiaries, USG Energy Corp. and ENEGI Inc., were amalgamated with the Company.
