Calypso Uranium Corp. (Calypso) is a Canada-based, exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties for energy and mineral reserves in Argentina and the United States. The Company is principally focused on sandstone-type uranium deposits which are one of the prolific forms of uranium deposits worldwide, and also continues to look for new opportunities in the mining and energy fields. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries Energia Mineral Inc. (EMINC), Calypso Holdings Inc. (CHI) and Pampa Amarilla Inc. (PAI), the Company owns the right to explore and develop prospective uranium properties known as the Huemul, Ranquil Co, Campesino Norte, La Pintada, Central Block, and San Jorge Basin projects located in three separate provinces of Argentina, covering approximately 433,000 hectares. In May 2013, U3O8 Corp acquired Calypso.
