Cassidy Gold Corp. is a mineral development company. The Company's principal business activity is the development of a mine on its mineral property assets located in Guinea, West Africa. The Company is an explorer for and developer of commercially exploitable mineral deposits. The Company owns interest in the Kouroussa gold concessions in Guinea, West Africa. The Kouroussa gold project is located approximately 570 kilometers to the east of Conakry, the capital of the Republic of Guinea, located on the west coast of Africa. The Kouroussa basement geology incorporates the Siguiri Basin, which is a palaeo-Proterozoic sedimentary sequence. It has over two exploitation licenses that are the subject of the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). Its licenses cover an area of approximately 16 square kilometers in total. The Company's subsidiaries include Societe Miniere Africaine (Mina) S.A.R.L., Societe Cassidy Gold Guinee S.A.R.L. and Societe Kouroussa Gold Guinee S.A.R.L.
