Cassidy Gold Corp. is a Canada-based explorer and developer of commercially exploitable mineral deposits. The Company's principal business activity is the development of a mine on its mineral property assets located in Guinea, West Africa. The Company owns a 100% interest, subject to a 15% state participation, in the Kouroussa gold exploitation licenses in Guinea. Kouroussa is located approximately 570 kilometers east of Conakry. The Kouroussa basement geology incorporates the Siguiri Basin, which is a palaeo-Proterozoic sedimentary sequence. The Company also has two exploitation licenses that are the subject of a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). They cover an area of 16 square kilometers in total. The Company's subsidiaries include Societe Miniere Africaine (Mina) S.A.R.L. and the Company's wholly owned subsidiaries include Societe Cassidy Gold Guinee S.A.R.L. and Societe Kouroussa Gold Guinee S.A.R.L.
