Description
Selwyn Resources Ltd. (Selwyn) is a metal exploration and development company. The Company operates in two projects Selwyn Project and ScoZinc project. The Selwyn Project is located within the Selwyn Basin in the eastern Yukon. The Selwyn Project consists of 259.8 square kilometers of wholly owned mineral claims and 95.6 square kilometers of mineral lands acquired from the Howard�s Pass Joint Venture. The Selwyn Project is a development project that can provide zinc and lead mine supply. ScoZinc has mineral claims in Nova Scotia covering approximately 420.8 hectares square kilometers. In June 2011, Selwyn completed the acquisition of ScoZinc Limited and commenced engineering, permitting and refurbishment activities. In February 2011, Selwyn acquired the shutdown zinc-lead mine at Gays River, Nova Scotia. Selwyn acquired an option to purchase 100% interest in the Howard�s Pass Joint Venture property from Placer Dome (CLA) Ltd. and Cygnus Mines Ltd.
