Description

Stans Energy Corporation (Stans) is a Canada-based resource development company. The Company is engaged in the business of the acquisition and development of mineral deposits, such as uranium, molybdenum, vanadium, beryllium, and rare earth metals in the Kyrgyz Republic. Stans owns three operating subsidiaries: Stans Energy KG LLC (Stans KG), Kutisay Mining LLC (Kutisay) and Kashka REE Plant Ltd. The Company conducts all of its operations in the Kyrgyzstan. Licenses to the prospecting/exploration rights in the Kyrgyz Republic include Kyzyluraan and Aktyuz. Mining licenses in the Kyrgyz Republic include Kutessay II and Kalesay. Kutessay II is a past-producing heavy rare earth elements (HREEs) mine located outside of China. Stans owns a 20-year mining license for the property located in Kyrgyzstan in the former Soviet Union. Kyzyluraanskaya is located directly south of the main reservoir for Kyrgyzstans hydro electric power generation.
