Saras SpA is an Italy-based company active in the energy sector. It operates through five segments. The Refining segment covers the sale of oil products obtained upon completion of the entire production cycle, ranging from commodity sourcing to refining and production of finished products, as well as by purchasing oil products from third parties. The Marketing segment�s activities focus on the distribution of oil products aimed at smaller-sized customers, off-network customers and oil companies, as well as third-party operators and Company-owned service stations, supermarkets and resellers. The Generation of power by the combined-cycle plant segment relates to the sale of electricity generated at the Sarroch plant owned by Sarlux SpA. The Generation of power by wind farms segment covers the generation of power at the Ulassai wind farm. The Other activities segment includes reinsurance activities, information technology activities and research for environmental sectors.
