Orinoco Gold Limited, formerly Strickland Resources Limited is a mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on exploring its14 Mile Well Project, and projects in the resources sector, both in Australia and overseas, by way of acquisition or investment. It holds 24 prospecting licenses (seven granted) and one granted Mining Lease at the 14 Mile Well Project. The Company�s 14 Mile Well Project is located approximately 50 kilometers east of Leonora in Western Australia. It contains alluvial gold workings and historic shafts some 15 kilometers west of the Wallaby gold mine. Of the14 Mile Well Project area, the Company has rights to 100% of 17 prospecting license applications, covering approximately 32 square kilometers. The total 14 Mile Well Project area is approximately 47 square kilometers.
