Aspire Mining Limited (Aspire) is an Australia-based mineral exploration and development company. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2012, the Company's principal activity was the exploration for coal. During 2012, Aspire was focused on the wholly owned Ovoot Coking Coal Project (Ovoot Project), located in the Khuvsgul province of northern Mongolia. During 2012, a total of 25,093 meters were drilled, which included 11,797 meters of exploration drilling and a total of 12,816 meters of infill was completed. The Company has four exploration projects in Mongolia, three focused on coking coal (the Ovoot Coking Coal Project, Nuramt Coal Project and Jilchigbulag Coal Project) and one focused on iron ore (Zavkhan Iron Ore Project). The Ovoot Coking Coal Project is its project covering 509 square kilometers and comprises three license areas: Ovoot Resource, Hurimt, and Zuun Del. The Nuramt Coal Project is a 200 square kilometer license located near the town of Moron.
