Description
APAC Coal Limited is an Australia-based coal mining company. It is engaged in the care and maintenance of the coal resource of 18.2 million tons in the 890 hectares of the mining license area. The Company operates in one segment: mineral exploration in Indonesia. Its exploration tenement is held by PT Batubara Selaras Sapta. The Company�s 68,360 hectares tenement is located in East Kalimantan on Borneo Island. The drilling done by the Company has confirmed that there are two mineable coal seams developed in the Bekorok Block. Seam A and Seam B have a respective thickness of 1.37 meters and 2.96 meters. As of June 30, 2011, the Company�s subsidiaries included PT Deefu Chemical Indonesia and PT Batubara Selarus Sapata.
