Hammond Power Solutions Inc., (HPS) manufactures a range of custom and standard dry-type transformers, and designs and manufactures custom electrical engineered magnetic. HPS supplies and serves markets in North America, as well as Central and South America with dry-type transformers. The Company has manufacturing plants in Canada, United States, Mexico, Italy and India. Dry-type transformers and related products ranging in size from 12 volts to 34,000 volts, with sizing up to 35 megavolt ampere and 200 basic insulation level. Electrical transformers are used for stepping down voltages for distribution of electricity for commercial, industrial and residential use. The Company also has the United States operating subsidiary. On March 21, 2011, the Company acquired Purchase of Euroelettro S.p.A. (EH). EH operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. In February 2013, the Company acquired 100% in Marnate Trasformatori s.r.l. (Marnate).
